America's Next Top Model' s Isis King to Launch Fashion Line
Former America's Next Top Model contestant Isis King appeared on cycle 11 and cycle 17 of the modeling show and made her mark as its first transgender model. Now, after getting sex reassignment surgery, appearing in a few fashion shows and modeling for American Apparel's "Legalize Gay" campaign, King is starting to design her own clothes.
"Now I'm just really wanting the world to see my first talent," King told OUT magazine. But she's hesitant to outright call her line a collection adding, "I don't want to push myself and say I'm showing a 'collection' and get so nervous about it. I think I'll say I'm showing a 'presentation.'"
This week, OUT magazine recently named King to its annual OUT100 List for 2012.
