Snoop Dogg Launches Online Platform for All the Cannabis Lovers
Snoop Dogg is in the giving mood. Although he should be on the receiving end — his birthday just passed — the MC is gifting his new business venture, titled Merry Jane, to all of his fans.
In celebraton of his 44th birthday, Snoop officially launched his marijuana-centric website, MerryJane.com, which he describes as a "cannabis culture for all my people around the world."
The huge celebration, which took place at Moonlight Rollerway in Los Angeles, California, was a stomping ground for some of music's biggest names including Chris Brown, Zendaya, Ty Dolla $ign, Tyrese and Daz Dillinger, who all came out to share their congratulations with the birthday man.
Taking to the MerryJane.com homepage, Snoop shared with fans just how excited he is that the site's officially live: "On my birthday, I'm excited to present the opening of Merry Jane," he said. "The awareness and acceptance of our cannabis culture is now at an all-time high — and Merry Jane is delivering the sophisticated standard our community deserves."
Snoop and his business partner Ted Chung announced last month the site would not just be your cannabis go-to spot — the site would provide visitors with a variety of different kinds of content. Explaining just what you can expect to see, the Doggfather said, "We're blessed with an exciting team of the biggest names in the space giving you original content series, news, and product, and dispensary info. Merry Jane is cannabis culture for all my people around the world!"
