Marlon Wayans Sued by Actor Over 'Racially Motivated' Joke
Marlon Wayans is being sued by an actor who took offense at being the target of one of the funnyman's jokes, TMZ reports. Pierre Daniel, who had a small part in A Haunted House 2, claims that Wayans tweeted a side-by-side pic comparing him to The Cleveland Show's animated star Cleveland Brown last September, with the caption, "Tell me this n---a don't look like ... THIS N---A!!! Ol Cleveland Brown a-- lookin."
In court documents, Daniel says the joke was "racially motivated" and mocked his appearance. He is suing Wayans for racial discrimination and harassment. Daniel also accuses Wayans of rolling his eyes at him, saying the action caused him "shock, pain, discomfort and/or anxiety" and that, as a result, he can no longer work as an actor.
Daniel is suing Wayans and his production company for unspecified damages. The comedian has not yet commented on the suit.
