Michael Strahan’s stalker made a compelling case for pleading insanity in court on Monday. Andre Johnson, the homeless man who threatened to kill the Live With Kelly and Michael host outside ABC studios in Times Square earlier this month, had an odd outburst during his hearing, the New York Post's Page Six reports.
“I want a new lawyer! I want a new lawyer!” ranted Johnson. “This lawyer is part of the ​Illuminati!”​ Stahan’s stalker seemed to believe his attorney was part of a secret sect that controls world affairs.

Johnson’s rant didn’t end there. “Take pictures! We want photos!” he demanded after the judge barred photographers from shooting him. “Where’s the media? There’s a war against me. Obama was elected to defend us.”
The troubled 25-year-old faces three counts of attempted assault after showing up outside the studio where Strahan works and pulling a serrated kitchen knife on a security guard on July 1.

A cop intervened and knocked the blade from his hand. "I was there to kill Michael Strahan," he told cops after his arrest, according to court papers. "They control my mind. They make me want to kill him with a...knife I brought from Kmart."
Thankfully, Johnson wasn’t able to actually get close to Stahan during the incident.
