Chris Rock to Direct, Star in Finally Famous
Chris Rock is getting back behind — and in front! — of the camera.
The comedian and filmmaker is set to start production on a project called Finally Famous, about a movie star desperate to reinvent himself as a serious actor. Rock penned the script, will direct and also star in the film. This will be Rock's first time directing since 2007's I Think I Love My Wife. He also produced and starred in the feature-length documentary Good Hair.
Meanwhile, Deception star Meagan Good has joined the cast of the Anchorman sequel, Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Good will play Will Ferrell's boss in the film, which also stars comedy heavyweights Steve Carrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd and Kristin Wiig.
Both films are expected in 2014.
