Stacey Dash took to the web to set the record straight about being hospitalized on Tuesday.

TMZ reported that the 46-year-old actress was taken to Encino hospital in Los Angeles suffering from dehydration. The illness reportedly stemmed from food she ate on Sunday night. Afterward, Dash wasn’t able to hold down food or liquids.

Since being treated and sent home, the Clueless star has reached out to the web site Global Grind to squash any possible rumors about her hospitalization or her illness.

“After feeling sick after eating Sunday night,” Dash explained, “I thought I was getting better, and then suddenly I turned deathly ill.”

“I thought the pain from Sunday was going to go away, but it got worse and worse and it got to a point where I was really scared, so I rushed to the ER. The pain was so excruciating...I've never felt so bad in my life, I literally thought I was going to die.”

Dash concluded by thanking the doctors for treating her and all the friends and well wishers for all their prayers.
