Paris Jackson Sparks Feud With Randy Jackson
Is a family feud erupting between Michael Jackson's daughter and his siblings?
Just one day after Us Weekly reported that Janet Jackson is "furious" about Paris Jackson's budding acting career (the 14-year-old is set to star in the upcoming Lunden's Bridge and the Three Keys), the resilient teenager has struck out at her uncle Randy Jackson over his alleged misrepresentation of his mother Katherine Jackson's health.
The drama started with a leaked letter in which the Jackson siblings — Randy, Jermaine, Janet, Tito and Rebbie — demanded the resignation of John Branca and John McClain as executors of Michael's will, implying that the stress from handling MJ's finances caused Katherine to have a "mini-stroke."
Randy confirmed the authenticity of the letter and its claims via his Twitter account on Tuesday, causing Paris to call B.S. on her uncle.
"I am going to clarify right now that what has been said about my grandmother is a rumor and nothing has happened, she is completely fine," Paris said via Twitter.
She added, "I'd like to know who made up the rumor…I will defend my beloved family member with all I have , even if it means from other family members.”
Paris, the second of Jackson's three children, then wrote directly to Randy on Twitter, saying "@randyjackson8 hello dear FAMILY member i don't appreciate you telling everyone things that aren't true thank you very much."
When a Twitter follower suggested Paris have respect for her uncle, she swiftly replied: "Maybe he should have respect for his mother."
The tweets have since been deleted and it's not known if peace has been made between the generations of Jacksons, but hopefully, for the sake of all of Michael's children, they resolve things soon enough.
