Ray J. and Evander Holyfield Team Up for Boxing Venture
R&B singer Ray J. and boxing champion Evander Holyfield have teamed up for a new boxing and entertainment venture. The two will produce a series of televised Super Bowl-like matches with hip hop performances and entertainment.
Ray J. and Holyfield will be presenting the events with Sydney MacDonald of Everi Exposure Entertainment. Ray J. will handle music performances as well as getting models and celebrities to participate in the events.
"I'm very excited about this new business venture with KnockOut and Everi Exposure. This is a great opportunity to bring television and music to fight events," Ray J. said in a statement.
Holyfield will be responsible for negotiating deals with the boxing industry.
"Evander plays a key role to this new success as new doors are organically opening, ensuring that the business dealings in the boxing world are secure and continuing to flow freely," MacDonald says. "This ground breaking merger is a dynamic step in the right direction for better entertainment in boxing."
