Rep: Jennifer Hudson Is Not Calling Off Wedding
No need to cancel the cake and flowers just yet. Despite rampant rumors claiming Jennifer Hudson has called off her wedding to fiancé David Otunga, the singer’s rep clarifies that the big day will go ahead as planned. "I can confirm that the story is not true," the rep tells E! News.
According to Star Magazine, 30-year-old Hudson "abandoned plans to walk down the aisle" due to constant bickering between her and Otunga. The tabloid claimed the couple, who got engaged in 2008, were "clashing over Jennifer's career obsession, commitment issues and reluctance to have more children."
Another inside source for the tabloid explained, "David resents that she's so consumed by work." The so-called insider went on to add, "He's been pushing for baby No. 2, but Jennifer says she's not ready and throws out a million excuses."
Earlier in October, MediaTakeOut reported that J-Hud’s wedding to David was put on hold because of legal issues. The blog quoted a source inside Hudson’s family who said, "[David] didn't want to sign a prenup, and so they put the wedding on hold."
All false, says Hudson, via her mouthpiece. As for the mystery of her wedding date, Hudson claims that just because the world doesn’t know, doesn’t mean it’s not set. "I've always had a [wedding] date!" she told In Touch Weekly last month, "I just haven't told anybody! So it's set!"
We may not know the when or where, but one thing we know for sure, Hudson will look smashing in her white dress.
