Old Spice Guy Wants Woman With Good Hair
When Chris Rock was shooting Good Hair, who knew he could have interviewed the Old Spice Guy Isaiah Mustafa on his opinions and used the response as a history tie-in for what historians call “internalized racism”?
A couple days ago, The Huffington Post blasted the actor for comments he made while promoting a guest role on the new television series “Charlie’s Angels.” While speaking with E! News Giuliana Rancic about his love life, the guy who gets paid to ride white horses backwards and prance around in nothing more than a towel, reportedly says he’s only interested in women with good hair and, yes, it has to be real.
To clarify, he's quoted as saying, “I want my kids to have nice hair so she better have good hair. Cause, I don't know if you've checked my hair out lately. Aside from today it's normally nice. Today it's slightly nappy."
Although the interview has gone MIA on E! Online, Mr. Old Spice did tweet an apology saying, “I want 2 apologize wholeheartedly 2 anyone out there who was offended or hurt by the irresponsible comments I made on E! News. #ignorant.”
Oh, brother.
