Cymphonique Miller Scores New Nickelodeon Series
Another one of Master P’s kids is getting their own TV show. Deadline.com reports that Nickelodeon has picked up the live-action music comedy How To Rock Braces and Glasses. The 20-episode order comes on the heels of the successful pilot. The show is based on the book of the same title.
The series, which will air under the new title How To Rock, stars Cymphonique Miller, 14. How to Rock chronicles the story of a teen girl (played by Miller) who becomes the lead singer of a pop/hip hop band. The casting is largely rooted in Cymphonique signing a talent development deal with Nickelodeon back in December 2009.
Cymphonique already has an extensive resume, including a gig at Disney as a voice on Phineas & Ferb, in addition to guest starring roles on the Nickelodeon series’ Big Time Rush, True Jackson VP, The Troop and Just Jordan. She is the second Miller to score their own Nick series. Cymphonique’s brother Romeo Miller (then Lil’ Romeo) signed on for the series Romeo! at the age of nine.
