Fan or not, there’s just no denying it at this point: Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” has the summer, the radio and her 2017 career run on lock.

Thus, top-ranking chart spots, school curriculum placement in geography classes, gold plaque status and, following a Latino mix from the Bronx-bred femcee herself, Chloe x Halle’s acoustic rendition is in order.

And yes, the twin teen duo has made the smash hit’s guitar-stringing version an actual thing.

Just like the rest of the Bardi Gang, the Parkwood songstresses can’t get the club and radio banger out of their heads, as captioned in the video of their acoustic version. It’s pretty difficult to imagine the aggressive, bass-heavy hit softening down to an R&B harmony. But the girls took on the challenge anyway and perfectly executed a non-explicit, melodicized composition of the hit.

Halle held down the guitar duties while they both crooned out the track, switching out some of its more raw lyrics to safe-for-work ones, like “little b**ch” to “little witch.” The girls made sure to tag Cardi in the clip as well for further influential praise and an R&B nod.

She hasn’t responded just yet, but we’re sure after she catches a break from her fabulous NYFW debuts, she’ll be just as approving as the rest of us.
