When “Bodak Yellow” star Cardi B hopped on stage and sent shots to an unnamed former foe who is now trying to ride the Bardi Gang wave, some fans were certain that her diss was meant for fellow New York femcee Nicki Minaj. That included Joe Budden, who took to his Everyday Struggle series with his confirmation of Cardi’s anti-Nicki sentiments.

But according to a rather considerable tweet from Cardi, which Nicki endorsed in 140 characters as well, it looks like Joey’s receiving the “ehnt” buzzer for his misjudgment on a Bardi versus Barbie beef.

In normal debate mode with DJ Akademiks, another one of the show’s co-hosts, Joey confidently began his argument by canceling out any other possible femcee Cardi could have been targeting. He cancels out Love & Hip Hop star-turned-artist Joseline Hernandez, despite fans believing Cardi was mixed up in her and Stevie J’s social media hailstorm. And he assured that it couldn’t have possibly been Remy Ma either, who Cardi shares her Bronx hometown with and appeared beside on the Summer Jam 2017 stage as well. According to Uncle Joe, that leaves one person: Nicki.  

“What other women are there for us to assume she is talking about?,” he argues. “Let’s not f**king waste time, here.”

After reminding everyone of a questionable history between Cardi and Nicki unfolding via social media, Joey makes a bold statement to solidify his stance: “So put me on record since everybody’s stupid: Cardi is addressing Nicki.”

To clear the air, quite tacitly, the “Bodak Yellow” femcee debunked Joey’s testament with a nod to Nicki’s “Win Again” lyrics. Captured by Fameolous, it appears she also liked a comment on Instagram from a fan who insisted that Joey was putting words in her mouth and reminded that the she never even confirmed that it was another female artist she was sending the shots to. Nicki picked up Cardi’s rejection to Joe's claims as well, suggesting that him and anyone else pitting the two femcees against each other should pull their reaching arms back in.

“I see no lies when Bardi quotes Barbie, #WinAgain,” Nicki tweeted. “All dat reaching you go’n f**k around & pull a muscle.”

Case closed.
