Suge Knight Says He Has Evidence to Prove Dr. Dre Hired a Hit Man

His murder trial has also been delayed.

Suge Knight has recently been granted a bit of a blessing, successfully delaying his murder trial.

As reported, the Death Row founder's trial has been pushed back from its original date and has been rescheduled in order for his legal team to present their case to have his bail reduced. Additionally, Suge Knight claims that he has new evidence to prove that Dr. Dre hired a hit man to have him killed.

According to the New York Daily News, Knight's fiancée, Toi-Lin Kelly, is speaking on his behalf, sharing that his legal team will be presenting a "subpoenaed check, new eyewitness testimony and continued health issues" in order to hopefully lower his bail, which is currently set at a staggering $10 million.

On top of working to have his bail reduced, Kelly also states their evidence against Dr. Dre is very "compelling."

"We have a really great shot at our next bail hearing," Kelly told reporters. "Suge is really willing to go to trial tomorrow. That’s how much compelling evidence we have. We are very ambitious about moving forward to trial."
