We live in an age where, thanks to social media, not much is sacred.

Shawn Stockman, of Boyz II Men fame, recently turned to Instagram to air out all his dirty laundry, using the platform to apologize to his wife of fifteen years for cheating on her.

"I'm apologizing on record to my family and to anyone else that I have hurt," Stockman shares during the apology video.

The musician ended up being quick to delete his Instagram post, which unsurprisingly had commenters immediately criticizing his method of apology. Many said he shouldn't have used such a public method to reach out to his wife, Sharonda Jones.

He didn't dive into the details during his apology, but he owned up to the fact that rumors that he had cheated on his wife did have some merit.
