Future and Ciara have had quite the ugly year, at least as far as their ongoing legal battle goes.

Recently, Ciara took a loss that may make her battle against her ex even more of an uphill battle. As reported, a judge ruled that Future's tweets are not sufficient evidence to back up her claim that he defamed her character.

According to the report, the judge ruled in Future's favor, declaring that the rapper's tweets are not admissible in court. 

One tweet in particular, "this b***h got control problems," was one that Ciara cited she has a problem with. The judge ruled that the tweets "aren't libelous" on their face.

Essentially, what this means for Ciara, is that she has her work cut out for her in proving how Future damaged her career.

The $15 million lawsuit remains ongoing, which means the two are technically still warring. However, Future has pressed that he's ready to move on from it all.
