Back in May, Janet Jackson happily confirmed that the pregnancy rumors surrounding her were in fact true.

The 50-year-old is currently expecting her first child with her husband, Wissam Al Mana, taking to social media earlier this summer to express her excitement that the two are planning their family.

Today (September 28) the entertainer made a rare appearance in public and was caught by paparazzi leaving a baby furniture store in London called Back In Action.

While shopping, the singer was wearing a cozy black sweater as well as a matching scarf and headband with her baby bump visible for the first time.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Jackson arrived at the store in a black Mercedes, along with her bodyguard, her assistant and two others, where she was treated to a private shopping session.

Emerging from the store with a smile and a bag of goodies, it’s a safe bet that the mom-to-be had a successful day running errands in London. At this time, her due date has yet to be reported, but factoring in the date of her announcement, the couple will greet their first child sometime before 2016 is over.
