T-Pain has been hit with the tragic news that his niece was fatally stabbed to death at a Walgreens in Tallahassee, Florida, earlier this morning (August 30).

His niece, Javona Glover, died as a result of her injuries, despite being administered medical care. The mother of a 2-year-old daughter was only 23 years old at the time of the violent action that took her life.

The multi-talented recording artist took to Twitter in a call to action, asking fans who may have information regarding the “coward a** n***a” who killed his niece.

According to the report at the time of press, a suspect has yet to be identified. The police are currently interviewing witnesses and processing evidence and also have released a hotline for tips for people to call anonymously regarding the horrific crime.

While the musician and his family process this devastating news, T-Pain posted a reminder directed at media outlets.

“To all the media/news outlets and bloggers in Tallahassee: pls leave my family the f**k alone,” he wrote. “We're not here for your story. Let us be pls.”
