Chance the Rapper Admits Frank Ocean Was Once His Wingman

Could you imagine being in this situation at a bar?

Chance the Rapper is having quite the summer of a lifetime. Following the successes of his latest album, Coloring Book, including winning over the Obama family as lifelong fans, the Chicago rapper is taking time to enjoy himself.

In a new interview with GQ, Chance opens up about what it’s like working with Kanye West and also recalls how one time Frank Ocean was his wingman while he was on a date.

During the candid conversation, he shares a memory of how Frank Ocean scored him major clout when he was with a special lady.

“I was on a date one time at the crib, and we’re sitting in the front room, maybe rolling up some weed or something…” the rapper reflects. “And then Frank just comes up and starts playing the piano and lightly singing in the background of our date. Obviously, that scored me a lot of points with this female.”

Could. You. Imagine.

Absolutely amazing. We can only assume what was running through the mind of Chance’s date when Ocean started doing his thing and providing the perfect soundtrack to what had to have been an unforgettable moment.
