For those paying attention on Twitter, the #SoGoneChallenge has been picking up speed since Chance the Rapper tried his hand at it.

The challenge is simple enough: take a stab at rapping over the instrumental from Monica and Missy Elliott’s 2003 hit single “So Gone” and flip the lyrics to put your own spin on it.

The results have been hit or miss for the most part, but Monica herself has accepted the challenge — and may have shut down the trending hashtag competition for good.

With Missy vibing out during Monica’s take on the challenge, the veteran singer absolutely kills it. After all, it IS a beat she’s more familiar with than anyone.

The best part, save for the music itself, is seeing Monica have so much fun and smiling while spitting her game. Plus, again, Missy is in the building. Kind of impossible to top that one, although social media did try its best.
