Post-Prison Chronicles: Gucci Mane Has Hit a New Milestone in His Career

Guwop's back and better than ever... literally.

After releasing copious amounts of music and not allowing a prison stint to slow down his creativity, Gucci Mane has finally hit a career record with his ninth album, Everybody Looking, landing in the #2 slot on this week’s Billboard 200 chart.

The full-length album was released about a month after his early release, and even touched on his time in prison with the promotional single, “First Day Out Tha Feds.” His hard work has since paid off, with Gucci landing high on the charts, just behind Drake’s Views, which continues to sit at the top.

As reported, the project sold 68,000 units its first week and overall marks a new victory for Gucci to celebrate, even if he’s not partying much these days.

While Drizzy and Guwop collaborated on the album’s track “Back on Road,” the two are also rumored to be working on a larger project together titled 6er’s, representing their respective cities Atlanta and Toronto.

The other features on the project come from heavyweights Kanye West, Young Thug and more.

Congrats to Gucci on this latest achievement!
