Watch the Snoop Dogg History Lesson You Never Knew You Needed

Sportscasters everywhere better keep an eye on their jobs.

Snoop Dogg has never been shy about his love for sports.

From the debut of his new AOL showCoach Snoop, to recently throwing the first pitch (horribly, may we add) at a Padres game, Uncle Snoop has long been a sports fan.

Most recently, he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk shop about one of his favorite subjects — basketball.

During a segment aptly titled “The Hizzistory of Bizzasketball,” Snoop gave his two cents about the 1954 NBA Finals. While narrating footage of what looks like the most boring basketball game of all time, he notes how Black people weren’t allowed to play at that time and how he doesn't even care who won the game during that era because of that fact.

"There's no jumping, no dunking, no heroics. Just basic basketball," he says during the show. “That’s probably before Black people had TVs, so we wasn’t tripping."

Check out this history lesson you didn’t even know you needed in the video clip, narrated hilariously by Snoop himself, below.
