As reported by TMZ, the head of the legendary Jackson family, Joe Jackson, is currently in the hospital and doctor’s don’t quite know what’s wrong.

Jackson was admitted into a hospital in LA after a routine checkup. It is reported that the 87-year-old became weak during a series of routine testing and struck a high fever, resulting in doctors advising he be hospitalized.

As reported, he still has a high fever and doctors are working to figure out how they can help his condition improve.

“You know, he’s 87. We’re just trying to hold onto him as long as he can,” his son, Jermaine Jackson, told TMZ over the weekend. “My father is very strong. He’s in there telling jokes and he’s doing fine.”
