Tamar Braxton Reveals Whether or Not She's Ready to Patch Things Up With Toya Wright
Tamar Braxton recently was the talk of social media when she slammed her former bestie Toya Wright with one word during an Insta-apology to her current BFF, Tiny. We know, it's a lot to decipher.
After noticing the singer dragging her name through the mud, Toya clapped back in an epic IG post of her own, making it clear that their friendship was dead. Now, the "Love & War" singer is speaking out on the drama, and is denying several of the allegations made against her in the feud.
Sitting with Big Tigger on Atlanta's V-103, Tamar explained that Toya's claims that the singer had her banned from appearing on The Real while she was still employed there were untrue. She even went on to add that she wasn't even aware that they were not friends anymore until Toya called her out in an interview.
"I'm not the talent booker, I'm the talent," Tamar said before adding that she had no "power" over who was chosen to appear on the show as a guest.
Speaking on their then strained friendship, the singer-turned-reality star said their beef only got worse because Toya was upset that she did not promote her book on her social media accounts. However, Tamar claimed that due to her strictly outlined contracts and deals with companies, she was urged not to promote other projects.
From there, she sort of issued an apology to Toya, saying she "loves" her and "wants [her] to win."
