Nick Cannon Has Some Donald Trump-ish Thoughts on Planned Parenthood
It's been two weeks since the shocking election and politics are still in the air. After Kanye West's surprising endorsement of Donald Trump on stage during his Saint Pablo Tour last week, Nick Cannon is the latest star to jump into the fray with his controversial views.
During a visit to The Breakfast Club, Cannon made some pretty jaw-dropping statements about Planned Parenthood and both presidential candidates. He also admitted he's a part of the "I Didn't Vote" club.
Most surprisingly, Cannon says Planned Parenthood "wasn't designed for our people."
"That type of stuff is to take our community and — forget gentrification, it's real genocide. And it's been like that for years. This system is not built for us," he said. Interestingly, Cannon has a very personal reason to be anti-abortion. In his 2005 song "Can I Live," he shared that his mother nearly terminated her pregnancy when she was carrying him and changed her mind at the very last minute.
What's more, Cannon is expecting a baby with his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell and is already the father of two beautiful twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
But that's not all Nick had to say. He also spent some time tearing down the presidential candidates and admitted he didn't vote. "Picking out of these candidates was like choosing which gun you want to get shot with," he said. "It's the same system, pick your oppressor. You can't vote your way out of oppression." Sigh.
