Wendy Williams has officially returned to the daytime TV circuit for the season eight premiere of her talk show, and while making her way through the double doors for her grand entrance, something was different: she was wearing a black turban over her wig.

Later in the show, she revealed she did so as a tribute to her now passed wigologist Antwon Jackson, and she broke down while remembering how she learned of his passing.

Breaking down into tears, she explained that she was getting her eyebrows done before heading on vacation when she received the dreaded phone call that he had died.

"I will miss you dearly, Antwon," she said before passing to a video package in his memory.
