Jamie Foxx is heading into a new chapter of fatherhood. 

People confirmed the actor and comedian is expecting his third baby, his first with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp. The news was first reported by TMZ and later confirmed by People. Foxx is already a dad to daughters Corinne, 32, who he shares with ex Connie Kline, and Anelise, 17, who he shares with ex Kristin Grannis.

Foxx and Huckstepp were first linked publicly in August 2023 after they were spotted dining with friends in Malibu. People reported the two split in January 2025, but were seen together again a few months later in April and then in Miami that October, signaling that the relationship had been rekindled. 

The pregnancy reveals a bright spot after a difficult but deeply intense period in Foxx’s life. Huckstepp played  a major role in his recovery after he suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke in 2023, with Corinne announcing at the time that her father had experienced a “medical complication.” Foxx later thanked both daughters during his BET Awards acceptance speech, calling them “beautiful” and crediting them with helping save his life. 

Foxx has always spoken fondly about fatherhood, telling People in a previous interview that one of his favorite parts of being a dad is “watching them light up when you come into a room.” Now, with another baby on the way, the Foxx family is getting even more light!
