Styles P. Gives His Take On Who Will Win The Rap Feud Between Kendrick Lamar and Drake

The LOX co-founder says that the beef is bringing back competition in the rap game.

Styles P shares his opinion on the ongoing rap beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake on social media.

The legendary Lox rapper believes that what is great for hip-hop is bringing back some of the competitiveness that has been lost in the game.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday (April 13), he shared what it would take for either “K.Dot” or the “6 God” to come out victorious in the epic encounter.

Drake Responds To Diss Track, Claiming Rick Ross is ‘Loopy’

“Not that anyone asked me. But it’s pretty simple whoever can be the pettiest and most disrespectful and not worry about crossing boundaries while being witty and applying pressure will win,” Styles’ post read.

“Let the games begin I'm in the audience with the popcorn. Hoping this brings back competitive emceeing when it’s all said and done,” Styles continued. “I would bet a fingernail no one is gonna get hurt. So this is verbal warfare which I like to see .. don’t judge me.”

J. Cole Regrets Dissing Kendrick Lamar

Styles also shared his view on J. Cole's apology for releasing a diss track aimed at Kendrick. The Yonkers MC admitted that Cole's decision had him torn.

“The emcee with a competitive nature part of me is upset at that young man while the mental wellness take care of your spirit part of me is very proud of him [three crying emojis],” his post read.

“He just confused the sh*t out of my frequencies but imma always go with the take care of your spirit and please y’all self before you worry about pleasing others!” he continued.

“My hypothesis is this is something that he never wanted to do but the nature of the game and what the people say can dictate your movement,” Styles added. “Throwing jabs eventually leads to throwing power shots at some point and that ain’t his thing or something he wants to do with his fam so he chose to bow out gracefully, never knock a man for bowing out gracefully or choosing to protect his spirit whether you or agree or not that took courage to do.”
